Bodies of Work
Marble / Highway Barriers (2002–2005)
Developed from photographing civic infrastructure while maintaining a sculptural practice.
Image–Structure Interference (2005–2007)
Combining photographic collage, plywood cut-outs, and painted models.
Retinal Formations, Berlin (2007–2009)
Moving sculpture toward perceptual structure. Hexagonal planters and eye-related forms
Visual Cortex Studies (2010–2012)
Sculptures and installations informed by research into the architecture of seeing. Modernist abstraction, neurological models, and urban scale intersect. Perception becomes a constructed environment.
Studio as Optical System (2013–2017)
Photography, collage, and sculpture operate as a single field. The studio functions as a working apparatus: staging, documenting, re-photographing, and feeding images back into objects.
Language, Pattern, and Cognition (2017–2019)
Research into linguistic structure, pattern, and repetition. Textile logic, modular systems, and non-Euclidean forms are used as cognitive analogues rather than decoration.
Recent Work (2020–present)
Geometric abstraction, model-based production, and digital fabrication converge with photographic montage. Current work focuses on negative space, structural absence, and what remains unresolved between image systems.
